Improved body shell durability: The body shell uses the latest hot runner injection moulding process, this allows a higher level of body detailing and provides improved elasticity and toughness which makes for a more durable fuselage compared to other body construction methods. LED lighting system: The helicopter is fitted with multiple LED navigational lighting units and a large nose mounted spotlight for additional scale realism and improved visibility. Scale Main Blades: The main blades include true to scale swept end tips just like the full size original. The blades are a carbon fibre – plastic composite that improves stiffness and durability which makes the helicopter more agile and precise to fly CNC Swash unit: The F09 uses a high precision CNC machined swash plate to provide a precision engineered and robust control of the rotor head system. The rotor head has oversized injection moulded parts to produce a reliable assembly and the ability to dampen vibrations and provide a smooth running head assembly. Dual Brushless Motors: Both the main rotor and the tail rotor are direct driven independently by specially selected brushless motors with high quality high temperature magnets and windings and quality hispeed bearings. The main rotor is a direct drive system with a high torque large diameter 4006 630kv unit that can drive the 4 blade scale rotor head with real authority . The direct drive tail assembly uses a 1104 5200kv brushless motor, which has high temperature resistance, fast response, stable tail lock and a solidly fastened tail blade. Often scale RC helicopters suffer from very high main motor operational temperatures due to the motor being encased in a sealed body shell with minimal cooling airflow, the main motor has direct cooling air access on the underside of the body which improves motor cooling and reliability. The high performance main drive system is paired with the digital cyclic servos which provides outstanding performance for a scale helicopter and the ability to fly in an very sporty manner and is even capable of mild 3D flight if the pilot is suitably skilled. Digital Servos: the F09 comes standard with metal geared high speed 4.3gram digital servos with an impressive 0.05seconds for 60 degree rotation response speed. the servos are fitted with heavy duty plastic linkage arms to provide a robust and reliable control to the metal swash and oversized 4 blade rotor head system. Quality servos are a key component in providing a precise and responsive flying experience. Flybarless System: The F09 uses latest flybarless controller unit, building on the outstanding performance capabilities of the E180 and E150 3D helicopter models. This system is pre-configured at the factory and arrives truly Ready To Fly. The pitch curves and throttle curves are already pre-programmed in the RTF radio controller making the E-200 RTF truly Ready To Fly with no additional setup required - power it up and go flying. The flight control system includes a 6G fully stabilised flight mode allowing beginners to get to grips with flying in a very short time frame and be comfortable in the knowledge the helicopter can "self level" in 6G mode if things get a tad out of hand. The battery module has an overcharge, over discharge and low power indication which can effectively prolong the service life of the battery.
